Post-TI6 shuffle update: Forev and Agressif dropped from their teams
Agressif and Forev have become free agents after leaving their respective teams while OG and Fnatic let go of three players each.
As the drop period end date on the 4th of September approaches, an increasing amount of players have been released or have left their teams, outside of the six free agents released by Fnatic and OG, notable free agents include LGD's carry player Sun 'Agressif' Zheng and MVP.P's offlaner Lee 'Forev' Sang-Don.
In addition to the players who have left or have been removed from their team, all sub players have been automatically removed from their team due to a change in the subs policy. Among these players is LGD's support Xue 'September' Zhi Chuan, who was swapped to the sub position after he failed to get a visa in time for TI6; it is worth noting that LGD's original sub, Wang 'Banana' Jiao, has not left the team. Besides Agressif's situation, information about the players remaining on LGD is vague.
As MVP.P's situation, players on the team have been departing one by one, possibly due to the internal conflicts highlighted by Kim 'QO' Seon-yeop. Just last week, MVP.P revealed that they were in negotiations with the players to extend their contracts, however, Noah 'MP' Pyo and Forev left a few days later.
With several strong teams undergoing roster changes, quite a few players who have gone under the radar have resurfaced as free agents. The well known SEA carry, Galvin 'Meracle-' Kang Jian Wen has finished his mandatory two years of national service and has left First Departure. In the NA scene, well known captain and support player Brian 'fluffnstuff' Lee has left EverNovaS.
