The Monkey King: Unreleased Dota 1 hero is coming to Dota 2!!!

A hero which never officially made it into Dota 1 was part of a grand unveil at the end of today's matches to the sound of Chinese drums and kung fu.

The hero from Chinese mythology features in League of Legends and Smite, and in those iterations has stayed true to the stories. The Monkey King, known as Sun Wu Kong in Chinese, is able to create illusions of himself using his own hair according to the stories, and based off the trailer Valve showed here in Seattle, it looks like at least one of his abilities will be illusion based. The abilities for the hero were not confirmed, but the hero is set to come this fall!
