Kaka is the third player to achieve 9000 matchmaking rating
After Miracle- and Arteezy, Kaka becomes the third player to break 9000 matchmaking rating.
Ever since Amer 'Miracle-' Al-Barkawi hit 9000 matchmaking rating in May, many DotA 2 players across the world have taken 9k MMR as the standard of being the best in the world. A month later, Artour 'Arteezy' Babaevalso landed himself in the 9k realm of ranked matchmaking. While the race to 9k became a unified goal for rest of the top players, the competition in the China servers have been particularly nail biting. The two protagonists of this competition are Hu 'Kaka' Liangzhi and Zhang 'Yuno' Chengjun.
Like other famous pubstars, Yuno plays the traditional core position in his pubs. However, Kaka takes a different approach and supports more often because he thinks that it is a good way to practice for professional matches.
Kaka's recent matches
The competition intensified this week when both players were only a game away from 9k but ultimately during a faceoff between the two contenders, Kaka took down his opponent in a stomp and becomes the first 9k player in China. With the reshuffle period still uncertain, may the Chinese DotA fans and Kaka rejoice in this commemorative moment.
