MVP play out of their MINDS in incredible TI6 opening game against OG

It was such a fitting opening game for The International 6, non-stop carnage between the Korean team and the double Major winners OG.

MVP had a very typical draft, Bounty Hunter and Spirit Breaker, two heroes that brought them such success at the last International. Amer 'Miracle-' Barqawi was on Timbersaw and the hero seemed to be able to deal with MVP's ganks from Bounty Hunter and Spirit Breaker, and after the ten minute mark MVP were just continiously throwing themselves at OG trying to wear them down, with even QO's Phantom Assassin opting to fight rather than farm.

Two extremely passionate Korean fans I found in the crowd

Miracle's kill score racked up and some nice baits to attract MVP allowed Johan 'BigDaddyN0tail' Sundstein's Juggernaut to swirl in and Omnislash Miracle's would-be assailants. The Shadow Demon pick by Fly gave N0tail some survivability thanks to Disruption, and OG looked like they were going to take the game after shrugging off MVP's incessant pressure.

MVP just took control thanks to the Forev's Dark Seer and MP's Faceless Void

Forev's Vaccum traps three of OG on the cliff and foils an attempt to take Roshan

After being battered and bruised in the first 15 minutes, the slow climb back and the Track gold from Febby's Bount Hunter saw MVP's stocks rise. MIracle's Timbersaw at times appeared to be jeering at MVP, tempting them to take him down and later on his shenanigans actually turned sour.

Sang-Don 'FoREv' Lee's Dark Seer was just sublime and the pivotal turn in the game was his 3-man Vaccum at the Roshan Pit at 25 minutes, isolating three OG players on the cliff (above) after the double Major winners had gone for Roshan after a favourable engagement. It was a stroke of genius and a few minutes after Forev and MentalProtector combined beautifully to perform a slick Vacuum into Chronosphere in their own jungle.

Kim 'DuBu' Duyoung's Spirit Breaker was collateral damage but the stuns were necessary to avoid Miracle escaping. However, his primary focus was the OG supports of Earth Spirit and Shadow Demon, with QO also going straight for the more fragile members of OG's line-up. MVP broke up the fight and in doing so made Notail's Juggernaut less effective while allowing QO to snipe his victims with swift crits.

OG had the advantage up until the superb Roshan gank by Forev and his team-mates, and it only took MVP 7 minutes to completely turn the game on it's head and take down two set of OG rax to win the first game of the The International 6's main event. An incredible game by MVP and also a thriller for the fans with non-stop action right from the start.
