Here are the two groups for The International 6 published earlier today
The 16 teams have been divided into two groups of 8 who will compete in a round-robin bo2 format to determine the top 4 teams of each group. Finishing in the top 4 of the group ensures a slot in the upper-bracket of the main event, while a bottom 4 placement sends you straight into the lower-bracket. The first round of the lower-bracket of the main event will remain a bo1 just like last year, a scenario many teams would clearly wish to avoid.
Group A looks a lot heavier?
Despite OG and Liquid being split up along with Wings and Newbee into different groups, group A looks predominately stronger and holds 3 former TI winners in The Alliance, Natus Vincere and Evil Geniuses, double Major winner OG as well as last year's TI5 third place finisher LGD-Gaming.
